Kim has been building bits and spurs for the last 25 years. His passion is bridle bits and his main goal is to build a bit that is functional first and beautiful second. Kim was featured  in the August 2016 edition of Western Horseman Magazine. He has been awarded the People's Choice award three years in a row at the Great Basin Gear Show in Elko, Nevada. He collaborated with Bret Haskett, an outstanding rawhide braider on those projects. Kim and his wife Karen live in Sonoita Arizona
